We've officially launched our public fundraising campaign. Donations are now open through Zeffy — every dollar goes directly toward construction.
The 8.8-acre site plan has been amended and approved. The layout includes separate large and small dog areas, green space, and accessible parking.
Marquette Dog Park Friends is now fiscally sponsored by the Lake Superior Community Partnership Foundation, making all donations tax-deductible.
Over 100 Marquette residents have already signed up to follow the project. The 2025 Recreation Master Plan survey showed 69% community support for a summer off-leash park.
